Uplifting Women and Girls is What Caterina is All About
Caterina has been working to uplift the lives of women and girls since grade school. The mission she gives her life is to contribute to women to build their economic power through entrepreneurship, in order to uplift themselves, their families and their communities.
Caterina is the founder of a giving circle called A Good Deed Tea this group is dedicated to furthering the education and economic empowerment of women and girls in the developing world.
In 2014 A Good Deed Tea raised and dispersed $20,000.00 to these three organizations that fulfill the criteria set my the members of A Good Deed Tea:
Sakhi for Girls Education
A girls book bank, literacy program and empowerment for girls living in
the slums or Mumbai, India.
The Power of Love Women’s Entrepreneur Program
A microloan and entrepreneurship training program in Zambia, Africa.
TRIFC Deaf Women’s Empowerment Group
A economic skills training and community building program for deaf
women living in Nepal.
Caterina is an advocate for starting your philanthropic activities now, at whatever income level you are at today. Caterina infuses philanthropy into many of her events and teaches other women how to do the same. Each year Caterina hosts Global Love Day to uplift women and girls around the world.
