This is part two of a four-part series about why coaches need coaches. If you haven’t read the first one, it’s here. Watch for parts three and four very soon.
Why A Coach for Sales?
One of the things I hear all the time from coaches is that they are able to help others, but when it comes to helping themselves, they get stuck. They can assist their own clients to achieve six-figure incomes and beyond, but they don’t know what to do to promote their own sales! Does that sound like you? Then these ideas may help you!
Rock Star Love
Holding a bigger vision for your own clients is what you do as a coach. And when you’re looking for a coach, that’s who you should be searching for. Does your coach have a big heart—big enough to hold the vision of your success without feeling threatened? Your success should uplift your coach. Every one of your successes should fill your coach’s heart with love.
A Mentor Friend Isn’t Enough
You may think that you can trade services with a friend and mentor each other. My friend, if you do that, then you’re cheating yourself. Your friend is going to continue to be your friend, and let you slide when things get rough. A good coach won’t let you slide. They will continue to push you during even when it’s difficult until you’re successful.
Women and Money
If you’re a woman, then chances are that have some issues with money. A lot of women, in particular, were raised with the idea that nice girls don’t talk about finances! If that sounds like you, then a coach can really coax you out of those self-limiting beliefs that are holding you back.
Often when I ask someone I’m coaching about her sales goals, I get a blank stare. Or sometimes a woman will dig in her purse to pull out a piece of paper. If you have to pull out a piece of paper to tell me your goals, then you need some assistance in this area! Am I right?
